This
Presidio Heights townhouse is distinctive for its tall,
narrow windows and doors with graceful top arches. The
architect echoed these arches in the arbor constructed
by DFLC's skilled carpenters.
The curved motif continues with the antique fountain
in the center of the par terre terrace. Hand-set slate
was shaped by experienced masons to curve around the
baptistry-style center fountain. Low boxwood hedges
define the formal shapes in the back and in the front
gardens. Thornless iceberg rose trees soften the look
of the railings that guard he steep driveway in front.
Cone-shaped boxwoods direct the eye and the visitor
to the elegant front door.
